I had my second cataract surgery three days ago. I was born with poor vision. Now at 66 I can see without glasses for the first time in my life.
i am wondering how many others have experienced vertigo like symptoms. Is this the brain struggling with my new sight? Does this take time to adjust?
id welcome your comments. By the way I am in Australia.
Hi Mitya
I had the cataract in my left eye done 2 weeks ago. Not suffered any virtigo but have had a little dizziness and light headedness which have all but disappeared now so I put it down to the brain adjusting to the new inputs it is receiving from the eye. My biggest problem remains the night time halo images.
I hope your recovery goes well and u enjoy your new found sight
Thanks John for replying. How about blurriness. Mine is annoying and I found when shopping today my eye got quite uncomfortable. I'm using reading glasses for my short sight. I've not got halos, thankfully. Anyway it's just day 4 so I just too impatient. Cheers
