Very soft breasts

I am 53 years old currently experiencing very grave menopause symptoms. 4 days ago I noticed that both breasts have turned extremely soft and they weren't like this previously. Anyone experienced this?

Any breast changes should be reported to your doctor, though if its both breasts its unlikely to be anything to sinister.

Losing breast shape and firmness is normal in menopause because of lack of oestrogen. My hubby says I need a belt for them instead of a bra

Thank you so much Tracey. This is very reassuring. Have a nice evening.

hi Darey,

you are not alone, i have noticed that since my hysterectomy last year and the journey on HRT my breasts have become very soft. Also my areolas have grown some what and darkened in colour. ive always loved my breasts as im a 38GG and always worn flattering bras. my breasts are so so tender and my nipples super sensitive , its got so bad that i have to wear a bra whilst making love as i cant stand the pain of them bouncing around .
hope you get sorted

Dear Diane. Thank you for your reply. Its good to know I’m not alone. I had a hysterectomy 11 years ago but did not experience the soft breasts until now. Been to my GP, she examined and said she did not see anything wrong and attributed it to hormonal changes. It just seems weird and I now have to wear a very firm bra as I dont want them flabbing around!
