I had two vivity replacement lenses placed about 6 weeks ago. My weak eye is great and I can see clearly with no discomfort. My strong eye was inflamed after surgery and the lense still is not a comfortable fit. I cannot see distance clearly as it is currently 3/4 diopters off. Lasik has been recommended to “tweak” this lense. Reading the computer, iphone and ipad is easy.
Has anyone had lasik performed to correct their vivity lense implant to improve distance vision?
What do you mean by your “weak eye” and “strong eye”? What is your eyeglass prescription now?

The reason I asked for the eyeglass prescription is that it makes a big difference whether you are +0.75 D or -0.75 D. Reducing -0.75 D to 0.0 D can be done with Lasik as that requires the cornea steepness to be flattened. However, increasing the steepness to go from +0.75 D to 0.0 is very difficult with Lasik and it may not stay at 0.0 even if they get it there.
