Hi there! I've been getting very naseous the last few months. I often work and get distracted then dont have anything all day except coffee until dinner. As this became a regular thing I found I started to feel really sick when I didn't eat which continued to get worse and worse and now I often vomit when that happens. When I do eat after i dont feel good it just makes me feel worse and I need to have a very little bit (2 bites of potatoes, a couple spoon fulls of soup etc) then wait until I feel better than eat the rest of my meal. This used to take a half an hour or so the last few weeks it takes hours until the nausea abates. In the mornings I don't experience this (after not eating all night) it is generally mid day or in the afternoon. If I have eaten regularly that day I very rarely feel like this. I also get very motionsick and that makes my symptoms worse. I crave carbs (bread,potatoes,pasta), chocolate, high sugary drinks like Gatorade or apple juice, all the time and these foods are generally what help me feel better the quickest. I'm not sure what's going on or why this is getting so severe. Any thoughts are appreciated ! Thank you!
I also want to add that I don't conciously miss meals; I have a high stress job and a huge work load and legitimately forget to eat and/or just get carried away in my work then all of a sudden it's 5pm and I realize I haven't had anything. I'm not sure if my symptoms are as a result of lack of food or just exasperated by it
change your lifestyle completely
Your eating habits may be the cause. Irregular eating patterns are not good for your digestion. Try eating little but often and don’t eat late at night. See your doctor if it gets worse.
