Von Hippel-Lindau (VHL) disease is an inherited disorder causing multiple tumours, both benign and malignant, in the central nervous system (CNS) and viscera. The most common tumours are retinal and CNS haemangioblastomas, renal cell carcinoma (RCC), renal cysts and phaeochromocytoma.12
