VP vs HPV? Please help, I’m terrified.

Hello, I am going for my first STD test next week, and decided to look at my vaginal area to see if i saw anything since i had never really done that before (at 24 so i know I'm late in the game). I had never seen a vaginal opening like mine so i decided to research it. Of course, I went down a rabbit[](https://) hole. I've seen different post on both sides with an opening looking like mine. I do want to say it is probably very red and swollen/irritated because i keep looking down there and pulling at it. I'm terrified of having something. I know it could just be VP or piece if leftover hymen. I just have never seen anything like this before today. Please let me know what you thing.

Hi, it looks normal to me and i dont see neither honestly. VP generally develops on your inner labias. HPV comes in many different forms however you do not show any signs of it. You can actually open op your vagina a bit more to see that your vagina opening is normal. If you part your lips open as you did and gently push back/down on your vagina you will see the opening push out a bit and can see the hymen remnants more and will be able to see if you have any growth on your vagina if there was any .

thank you :folded_hands:t2: just have some slight burning down there and had uncomfortable sex (where i was pretty drunk and wasnt very into it) but im going to get tested tomorrow still just to make sure!
