I have VSD (4mm) from childhood. my VSD is partially closed by some tissue and no need surgery as my doctors sad in 1996.
in 2016 I got bacterial endocarditis on tricuspid valve. I got 6 weeks antibiotic terapy treatment and now I am ok..endocarditis has gone.
Now my doctors are telling me that we need close VSD because of here is some risk in future that endocarditis may be repeted. now I want to know if I have no heart problem now(doing heavy trainings and weigth lifting,alloud by doctors),does this surgery is mandatory for me..whats is the view of people who really know this issue.
