Vulva soreness + possible VP?

Hi! So I’m 24 and have been sexually active since I was 19. This whole time I’ve always felt a soreness around the opening of my vagina at the sides and the bottom of the vulva during any form of penetration. It feels like a friction burn to an extent, it does improve a bit with lubrication but it’s still there like an uncomfortable feeling. I haven’t currently got a sexual partner and haven’t been active for 2 years so I don’t think it’s any form of STI but please let me know if that sounds like anything! The skin that is sore is redder than the rest of my vulva. It doesn’t cause me any other problems and I literally don’t notice it until I use a penetrative toy. I’ve also noticed around this area I have what I think is vestibular papillomatosis and I don’t know whether that can have some of the blame? I feel like I know nothing about my own vagina’s health or what how a “normal” vagina looks and behaves which is wild to me! I’ve never bothered to seek advice before because I forget about it so often! Any advice would be amazing!

it looks like irritation due to friction, check with your GP to be more sure about it

It looks like you have a smaller vaginal entrance then most your age wich is probably why you feel pain during penetration
Is it always this red or just after penetration?

Thank you for the reply, I hadn’t thought of that! It’s always this red I think but def at its worst after penetration.
