Hi

I have no idea as I have never asked for one, but 16 weeks seems a long time for them to reread you application forms and make a decision, maybe they have to make further medical checks being as they have refused you once, that would seem plausible because if nothing more substantial turns up then that would seem like they would have to go with there first decision, but maybe you didn't put all your information through so then they would pass it after amassing more.
Don't take my word for it of course because like I said I haven't had to do an MR
hI
I submitted loads of new evidence from my Gp and specialists so I think I've done their work for them. I think they are just plucking figures out the air now.
Thanks for your reply.
I hope they sort it soon for you, it does seem a slow process
Thank you.
That always seen to love the goal posts and change their mind. I got told I had lost my mobility and I had been awarded standard care. ( im already to do a MR)
So I asked when the letter would arrive. They said 2 weeks ago. It still hasn't come. So I rung again.
Then I got told it had gone to a higher DM.
Then a lady rung yesterday to say it had gone back to ATOS as they are not sure about some of the points.
They don't seem to know what they need to do
Thanks. I wonder if they have done that to mine. I disputed some of my atos report and backed it up with evidence.
Fingers crossed that this will be good news for you Clare x
Thank you Claire.
Pam x
Just phoned them again and found out like you my case has been referred back to atos.
That's got to be a good sign that maybe the DWP are seeing that the reports are not matching the medical evidence sent in with forms.
Possibly so. It seems if you start asking questions then they feel they need a second opinion.
Especially in cases where there is a massive difference to your last report.
My new report has suggested I loose all mobility. Yet I'm worse and there is now cure. So I guess of that want to Persue taking all if my mobililty away then they need to be certain. I did also say I was going to appeal. And they don't want appeals.
I have spoken with atos. They have confirmed that DWP have definitley received my report back.
Nothing seems to be going as i would have expected from what i have heard with other people's cases.
I hope you get sorted soon x
Thank you. I've been told I may need another assessment. I have no idea now what's happening. It's laughable really isn't it. I've got part the really upset stage now. I'm numb and just going through the motions. I've never heard of this happening before. Have you ? X
I'm guessing your report was very different from your last one.
There intention is to get as many people off pip and esa as possible. But when there is such a difference in opinion they need to be certain for if you decide to appeal.
This is because one of your valid points to argue in a tribuneral would be. Why is the report so different if my condition is worse or the same. I don't think its to actually help us. I think they need to cover their backs . X
I can only hope. I have another gp letter and even more information ready to fire straight back at them as soon as i get my letter. When ever they decide to do that
You would be better with your consultants reports as I personally don't think they hold much store with GPs as they are not specialists in any field and don't specifically see you other than on a minimal scale.
Get xrays, scams, MRI, all test results etc what can't speak can't lie
Why can't we edit these posts it should be scan, predictor texts a pain
It's insane it really is. Yes i have heard of it but only a couple of times. Good luck with everything and i hope you get the decision you deserve x
I've already handed all them in with my application. Because my condition involves all of my body I am under alot of consultants. So when my gp did a letter he attached alot of clinic letters.
The assessor just had never heard of my condition and didn't seem bothered either. Surely all of my reports and letters would put weigh her opinion. She only met me for an hour and when I asked her about my condition her reply was " I don't know"
She didn't care
Thank you. At every stage I was advised of what usually happens. But the way my pip has gone has gone against the usual. I'm actually begining to laugh at how pathetic it is. If not I will scream and cry haha. X
