hi all its me again.i am still waiting to hear about my op in the meantime ive noticed a not very pleasent clunking feeling somethimes when i move.its the base of my spine at the side.feels and sounds like a large part of my pelvis is moving!!has anyone else noticed this?hoping you are all okayxx

Hello Sandra, I have only recently joined this forum and so pleased! So much support and friendly people. I too have the feeling you are describing when I walk, which is not very far right now, to the right, at the base of my spine, it stops me in my tracks and have to sit for a few minutes. I have no idea what it is but seeing my GP in the morning.its not a grinding/clicking feeling which I get a lot, and I also feel as though it may give way. I was listed for my op in October 2015, and just got a date yesterday 30 March! Hope you get your date soon, shall let you know what my Doctor comes up with! Take care, Jude, Cumbria.

I am also waiting for an op date. I get the same 'clunking' feeling, but more to the side of my hip.

I just replied to Sandra telling her I had the 'clunking' feeling - after reading you post, I think your grinding/clicking comment better describes the condition.

Hello, I think popping is another good word, frequently happens when I move about, must be the bone on bone. Hope you get your op date soon. Jude.
