this past July me & my baby father had split up . we both moved on . Aug 11th , we had unprocted sex . Aug 14th , i had protected sex w/ someone else . Aug 30th , Sept 1st & Sept 2nd , me & my baby father had sex again . on Sept 2nd , that morning i noticed discharge & odor . i thought it was the usual ( bv & yeast ) but later on that night i started to get this pain down there . it would hurt when i walk , sit down , wipe & wash . it was so bad i had to go home . when i looked in the mirror , i noticed 3 red bumps . i instantly thought to myself this can't be real . i cried & cried & cried . i went to the health department & she told me it didn't look like herpes , but once she swabbed them , one busted & had a lil puss & blood coming out . she went ahead & started me on Acyclovir just in case . who could i have possibly gotten this from if it is herpes ? my baby father said he doesn't have it & he hasn't had unprotected sex w/ nobody .
Well you don't know if it's herpes yet so relax and herpes can be passed even if u use a condom depending on the location of the outbreak. Has your ex gotten tested? Some ppl are carriers
it's hard to relax . i've never had this before . after looking at pics & googling herpes , that's all i think about . even the nurse said that's what it looks like after she swabbed . both partners have not got tested . they keep saying they're clean , but they don't know unless they get tested . i'm devasted .
It absolutely sucks but it's not the end of the world. So many ppl have it and don't even know something like 80% of ppl with it show no signs or symptoms or symptoms are so mild they are dismissed as in grown hairs, bug bites, or friction. Some ppl can go 10yrs without an outbreak and some ppl will never get one at all only find out from partners that show symptoms. When did u start the aclovir ? Does it seem to be helping??
i feel like my love / sex life is completely over . i had so much planned . but after this , it all went down the drain . i'm scared to tell the person i'm talking to now that it might be a possibility . i'm even scared to be around my kids now . i went & got tested this Tuesday , i didn't start taking the medicine until yesterday ( Wednesday ) . the pain still hurts . & the discharge from bv makes it worse .
I wouldn't unless you get to the point that you think you might get intimate. It's fine to around your kids always wash your just like you normally have if you can put bandages on the sores to avoid contact with them you don't want to spread them. When u put cream on new q tip each time. I think tea tree oil helps a lot with discomfort. Garlic is supposed to be help (raw) eaten with honey. Vitamins will be good to avoid stress it makes outbreaks worse.
is it possible that my baby's father might have it . i've read where one test positive & the other hasn't . i know my life isn't over but that's how i feel . i feel like i'm at fault . i feel nasty & ashamed .
I felt the same way when I found out it's natural. See I know couples with one partner that has and one partner doesn't and I also know a couple that they both had it. Friend of mine used a condom with a guy in got it.

Mine have been so mild up until about 3 months ago I never used the meds. I was always able to just use vitamin E oil. Now I've been using tea tree oil wish it was a lil faster drying them out but it feels great so I can't complain about that
I ordered a few things from Amazon I plan on trying. I want something to not have any outbreaks and minimum side effects so I lean towards more natural approach Garlic daily, acv I plan on trying lemon balm oil and I found a vitamin also on Amazon that has a lot of natural surpressors.
I would wait until you get your results, then ask these questions if it's actually herpes and you know the HSV type.

Praying 🙌🏽 it's not either just an infected pimple or something . No you can get hsv1 on your genitals usually from oral sex supposed to be less shedding less frequent

it has only been 3 days ago since i've got tested , so i figured they wouldn't be back by Friday . but she said they should be in Monday , if not , then for sure Tuesday . i put Nystatin cream on them ( don't know if that was a good idea or not ) but it seems to be helping . either that or the pills or both . it still hurt when i wipe / wash , but not when i sit down or walk .
i tried not to think about it & pray that my results are negative . but i just gave up all hope . the medicine they prescribed seems to be helping . no more redness , tenderness , burning or pain in my vagina . i can wipe / wash w/ no problem now . but i still have the red sores on the side of my vagina . today will be day 4 since i started my meds . idk if i should cry now or later .
