Bad luck Paula! I'm in Scotland and only been waiting 9 weeks and already I'm fed up! In Scotland there is a patient guarantee that you have to be offered a date within 12 weeks though it may not be at your local hospital or with the surgeon you have been seeing. I think in England it's 18 weeks. Is there a guarantee in Wales? Check the Welsh nhs page online or with your surgeon's secretary. I decided not to go to the other hospital as it is a 4 hour drive away and my surgeon told me his waiting list was 3-4 months. He lied! But it is too late to change my mind as I would be back to the beginning again. Hope being on the forum helps you - it has me. Xx
