You have my sympathy. Have you tried using Biofreeze. My physio recommended it and it does offer some relief to me. I now have to sleep in semi upright position with memory foam pillows. Are you on any medication. My doctor gave me gabapentin to help deaden the nerve pain and give me some relief. Do hope someone on here can give some more ideas. Believe me I know exactly how you feel.

Hi Hotpicks
I have years of no sleep due to pains and now also night sweats. Last night was a bad night for me. I had a throbbing pains in my left palm of the hand where the thumb joint starts. Every so painful and had an awful night. Unfortunately, I don't like to take meds so was up most of the night. Really feel for you. Hope you get some rest during the day today.
Take care and gentle hugs x
Thank you for your message it is appreciated sorry to hear you are not well hope you get better its no joke sending hugsx
when i get that i cool it with a cooling balm tends to reduce it to bearable
i use polar frost .
for night sweats i keep saying get some chillow mats you can get gel filled or ones you fill with water . cool them in fridge or frezer put in a pillow case hug like a hot water bottle keeps you cool.
in the uk summer i put asingle sized chillow mat on my bed and place 4 smaller ones from the frezzer under neath .no night sweats for me .
are you not in a position to afford a recliner chair ,
i got my best one this one i have now from a second hand shop cost me £85 with delivary.its been a god send so comfy .
i always lie on my side i can manage to get out of bed that way .but if i get on to my back i really struggle .
