Went shopping today and tried really hard not to limp . Stood up straight I must have looked really stuck up but I think it worked ?
Well done. Bet everybody thought "She must have been to Deportment Classes", better than looking like the Hunchback of Notre Dame!
Well I never thought of that , will have to practise a posh accent to go with it habha
Dear Mary,
So happy to hear you had a good day not limping.....how does your back feel? I found I was really tired for the first week or so concentrating on standing straight up. But, that passed. And so what if you looked stuck up, I say you probably looked confident!!! Hugs Ginny USA NJ
Thanks Ginny .back ok today . I have back probs anyway .
longed so much to sleep on my side again but find now that back muscles ache in morning . Can't win
best wishes
mary
Good for you,
Thanks Brian .
good luck to you
Mary you are not alone! I am sitting here on my couch very prim and proper holding my posture up by sucking in my abdomen. Then I slouch and then I sit proper again to see how long I can hold myself in that position.
Good exercises Mary!

Don't do it at home Dawn , only when out and pretending to be posh .
Will do anything to get over this as quickly as poss so I can look after my beautiful grand daughter Beth who has just turned one . I looked after her sister Anna who is almost 5 and I want to be as close to Beth.
Sure you understand that x
Yes Mary, I do understand that. I still cannot bear weight on my surgery leg, so I am not going out at all. So I will just be practicing for my debut!
Hugs
💛 Dawn
Poor you , I am out and about and doing most things except lifting Beth!

Hi Mary
I'm finding sometimes I can walk with no limp and no aid and sometimes I need crutch. I'm 9 weeks too.
Yesterday at work in carried my crutch cos I didn't need it, but needed it on way out, but I think I bent down and shouldn't have cos I've had pain since and awful nights sleep due to the pain. Its not excruciating so I'm don't think I've done any harm, just perhaps pulled the muscles a bit when they are not fully healed yet, so I'm resting today.
I'm sure like everything else when leg ready will just ditch crutch all time and walk without limp (I'm hoping).
It's not easy but is slowly getting better with more exercise
Yes Mary, I agree, I think the more you walk, the more you can walk.
