Walking in nature

Hi All,

I have been thinking about this alot today, I hear and read so much about going for a walk in nature and how calming and helpful it can be for anxiety, however it makes me more anxious, I won’t go into the thoughts that go through my head as i don’t want to scare anyone else but am i the only person that finds this advice of walking in nature more fearful and a totally unpleasant experience? A 15 minute walk in nature can send me into complete hypoventilation and dreading each step I take however i can walk round the shops with no real issue.

do whatever calms you down. I do find it very peaceful and relaxing to sit by a pond or stream and just watch the different kinds of birds, turtles, butterflies and huge fish coming to the surface when people feed them. Sometimes it’s even comical!
I’m just in awe of all of nature and God‘s beautiful creations. :heart:
