I'm going through a really hard time with my little one, and I'm desperately wanting to know what's going on. It’s stressing me out and my level of anxiety is extremely high. Can't stop thinking about and researching this.
It all started after having sex where I felt a small discomfort. My three last sexual experiences were like this:
28/01 I had unprotected sex and everything was ok.
09/02 started having sex without a condom and put it on afterward. Here I had a bit of discomfort, I was tight and not so wet
19/02 I had protected sex, but felt a bit of a burning sensation and my vulva got swelled,
I didn’t bother to have a close look at it in the following days
Around 29/02 I felt a bump and saw lots of tiny spots in my labia minora. My perineum, labia minora, vagina, and the area around my anus was very dry, the skin was red and very thin like plastic. The bump is very smooth and I don't feel any pain, itchiness, or burning sensation.
I thought I had candidiasis and because of that I started treatment with Flora Plus (Multi-Gyn) and clotrimazol
11/03 I went to the gynecologist.
She looked at it, and she said it seemed I had a wart (I felt like she wasn't so sure about it) and prescribed me Condyline Liniment 3x a week for 5 weeks and said that hopefully, the medication would help with the dryness of my skin too. I did the treatment for 4 weeks as I saw that my skin was getting worse during the treatment
I took tests for bacterial and fungal infection, chlamydia, gonorrhea and the results were negative.
I also had a Cervical Screening test and it was all good.
It's been almost two months in this nightmare and I've become obsessed with checking my vulva all the time. The uncertain vibe I felt from the doctor and the non-efficacy of the medication opened space for me to think about several possibilities: is it really a wart? Why is the skin so rough? Are these tiny spots papillae? will that be VP? An STD? Why is the skin extremely dry to the point of cracking? Could it be dermatitis? …
I’m going insane!
I have an appointment with the same doctor next Saturday. She said that if the medication didn’t work she could freeze the bumps and I’m a bit scared of it.
Has anyone gone through something similar? Any advice? Anything important I should check with the doctor?
