I just started taking Citalopram 20 mg ten days ago and feel dizzy and light-headed and do not welcome this feeling....years ago I was on Celexa, do not recall dose, and it worked well for me, so that was my reason for trying it
again, but do not recall this feeling...after only ten days, must I wean myself off?

You need to give this medication time to work. Upwards of five weeks.
Give the medication time to work, I know it can be a problem athough it will hopefully be well worth the wait.

I am on Day 1 of 10mg of Citalopram. My doctor did tell me to stick it out even if I'm feeling worse for a bit. Power through, we can do this!
I I was going to wean off but I have had a change of heart...I am going to follow through so I can get myself into a better emotional state...have had much going
on in my life and sometimes I do not realize how this is stressing me and the
effect of the stress on me physically and emotionally. I always think I will get
through it all...so thank you all for your comments.
