# Weaning off Propranolol

I have been on propranolol 40mg for 2 months. I was put on it due my hyperthyroidism. Had some palpitations. Once my thyroid was under control I started feeling bad side effects. Low sex drive, insomia, no energy , crying all the time almost feeling depressed and no appetite. I called my GP and was told to wean off starting at 20 mg daily for 1 week then 10 mg the following week. I now will be completely done this Saturday. did not think that this pill would make me feel way. I still feel a little sad, the sleeping has gotten better along with eating a little more. I just want to be back to normal again.  
if anyone has been on this due to hyperthyroidism I would love to hear how you were coming off of this drug.
