Wearing heels helps my heel pain??

Ok so this is weird. I have had this throbbing pain for few days now under the bottom of my foot. However I wore some heels today as I read somewhere heels can ease PF anyways if completely worked! No pain whatsoever but the min I take if off and walk barefoot the unbearable pain comes back.

Guess it proves that your pain is due to tight calf 's straining the pf legiments. wearing high heels alters the angle of the ankle which reduces the strain on the pf so stretching exercises should cure your pf given time. Shame its not an option for us males or not most of us that is.

Sounds like you might benefit from one of those braces you wear overnight that stretchs your tendons. Amazon do one for around £12.

I’ve discovered heels help mine too. I’ve always tried to wear supporting shoes orthotics etc but recently bought some nice ankle boots with a wedged sole in Clark’s sale. I tried them on thinking I’d be putting them back but discovered they were quite comfortable. So I bought them to wear occasionally. Anyways I’ve worn them pretty constantly for past 3 days and pain gone( apart from when I take them off- and then it’s only mild). The sole is about half an inch thick and the heel about 2inches but overall only about 1 inch difference in height. Now I just need some sandals to work in the same way.
