Weather change worsens the symptoms?

Menopause symptoms get worse in weather change. Does anyone agree with this? Anxiety, muscle pain and palpatations etc

Atlas, yes yes yes definitely! I am extremely sensitive to any weather changes and have been all through peri so far.

Thank you Nancy for reply. Seems like Peri changes make the body sensitive to outside pressure, because of this I often skip my daily yoga exercise and other chores. Hope this will get better as body adjusts to dropping level of female hormones. 😊

I agree with you in the winter its the depression anxieties and the tiredness in the summer I am not so tired I am more alert because there are is more sun in the summer than in the winter

Yes, I agree. I am in the U.S., and we keep having dreary, rainy weather in my area (South Carolina). I can tell a difference in my symptoms when the weather is like this. Much worse on the gray, drizzly days.

We had a run of beautiful weather last week for a few days, and i felt better. Today is another dreary one, and having back pain, depression, anxiety, etc.

I've also noticed I can feel it when a front is coming over, with dizziness and fatigue. I used to never notice a change, but definitely do now.

Yes , Dixie 63. When weather is going to change i now try to be calmer and do less physical like exercise etc, which seem to help. Good luck and take care☺️

Hi dixie63,

I want to recommend a S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder) lamp to boost your mood on cloudy or rainy days. It really helps me, I used it this morning and the difference after the half hour exposure was really like light and day.

Do you ladies find that dampness in the air or being in a damp place makes you feel like you can't breathe well?

To me its the hot air in the summer that does it to me.
