My face has started hurting more with all the rain storms coming in from tge north an supposedly there is a front as well so my my cheek started getting pressure with a little teeth pain feels like someone is pressing on my face my tn is wierd because its constantly giving me pressure
Yes, the weather and pressure has a direct effect on my Dad too. His specialist agreed too.
Even I can tell when he's having a bad day before I see him!
Hope your storm passes quickly.
Spikey-footed spider crawling across my cheek before a flare up and in very windy or cold weather - makes for severe pain becoming intolerable and incapacitating.
Hi, I have had TN for about 8 years and I am sure atmospheric pressure makes it worse. Heavy low cloud, damp weather, heavy rain and humidity all affect it. I am concerened that flying in a pressurised cabin could bring it on too.
Unfortunately there seems to be little you can do about it.
Hope the storms don't last long.
Sally
Its been bugging me for a couple of days mostly pressure on my face
Hi,
My Dad is affected by the air pressure but he has flown many times without any problems xx
Doesn't bother me when im on a plane but just normal hurts the most
I'm strongly suspecting atmospheric pressure has an effect. My three most recent significant flare-ups were two trips to NY, from the South, and when a hurricane came close to where I live. I'm too afraid to get on a plane!
Hi Lisa, Thanks for replying. I also have MS and find the weather affects that too, humidity makes me feel as if I have hit a brick wall but pressure really affects TN and nothing seems to help. I too am terrified to fly.
