Ok, so i have always feared the scales with the heart wrenching numbers on them all my life and it is always a gamble but there comes a time when you have to bite the bullet and show them who's boss!
2 weeks in and first weigh in......9lb loss! Couldnt believe it and haven't seen that figure in a long time.
On Friday night i had a works night out and they were going for a curry which first of all i panicked about but i dont want to be alienated on these so i called the restaurant and went through what i needed and i ended up having, grilled chicken with a dried spice rub on it and boiled rice. I sat there with everyone else, enjoyed it all the same and was super proud of myself. They all had really bad things, poppadoms and naan! I didnt want any of it and certainly wasn't going to be tempted.
Also this weekend was TOTM which i suffer with sweet cravings but a little piece of meringue without any yoghurt gave me that sugar kick i needed thats for sure!!
I know not everyone is having a great time on these but i can honestly say that i have never eaten so well, made great meals for me and my other half and i have been eating less than the recommended daily fat intake on this blue buddies which seems to be paying off.
Far too early to be getting carried away but you have to start somewhere and got a good feeling that this is a good sign of things to come xx
