Hi just wondering if anyone noticed any weight gain whilst on sertraline ? I previously was on citralopram and gained about 2 stone I seemed to bloat out I've managed to shift a stone since being off it but worried I may struggle to keep the wait off now on sertraline
I gained a stone on citalopram. Change to sertraline and continued to gain. I was at docs yesterday and have decided to wean myself off and i feel bloated and shattered
Hi Gem101, i've been on sertraline for 13 weeks now for anxiey. Not gained weight, quite the opposite, i've lost weight, well over a stone. Dont know if it was the tablets or anxiety, they did make me feel lousy to start with tho, loss of appetite, heightened anxiety, tired, spaced out but stick with them it passes. Hope this helps. Thank you. Yeah thinking about it I have lost weight since being on them but like you didn't know wether it was due to anxiety and poor appetite. X
Oh no ! Hope you feel better soon ! If I gain I will have to ween off them too because I don't want to weight gain x
3 years on Sertraline(50mg).I've gained about a stone(14lbs) in weight.
I don't think the constant tiredness has helped any.I can sleep for 12 hours no problem on this drug.
Coming off now.Maybe my appetite will decrease.
Im coming off them too. Cant stand the lazy feeling any longer
