I have been on DC now for 4 years due to back and neck pain, I have exprience most side effects and do feel like I am addiction - I HAVE to have one when I get up even if I dont have the pain otherwise I dont feel I can function properly.
I have gained about 2 stone in the 4 years and no matter what I do I cannot shift this weight, I exercise and eat well but nothing. Just wandered if anyone else has had this as not sure if its down the the DC or age
hi there I have been on these now for probably 6 years due to back pain, they no longer seem to help much but I still feel the need to take them. luckily I am due to have back injections soon but I really would love to come off them. I 2 have put on about 2 stone and cannot shift it at all. I wasnt sure if it was the medication or not but I do think it contributes.
I am the opposite, I lost 3 stones but not intentionally,I only weigh 6stone now and hate it,I myself have got down to 2tablets a day now,I am now going for one,I really suffer awful pain but the tabs caused constipation and really an awful thirst, they dried my skin and with losing weight did not help,I must have aged 15 yrs,I'm a mess,

i think have recently injured myself bad by taking the anti biotic CIPRO my doctor prescribed Dihydracodeine for this severe pain to damage to both my calfs and pain from my achieles heals in both lower legs. I am an avide runner and keep fit fanatic who every morning takes my weight and waist measurement. I dont drink alchohol or smoke my obsession is for my six pack and being 52 I am proud. I felt great until the CIPRO anti biotic poison intake. Since stopping the CIPRO and taking the Dihydracodeine I have noticed significant weight gain and 2 inches on my waste line which has never happened in 15 years of running and i believe its got something to do with the Dihydracodeine and its effect in swelling the liver slowing the bodies metabolism and the the truly significant reduction of me presently passing urine.
