Anyone put on a lot of weight since being on antidepressants or anti anxiety drugs and if so when you came off it how easy was it to shed the weight off again?
Yeah I gained 20lbs on Buspirone when I came off of it, I lost the weight right away. Few days at the most.👍I have a high metabolism I don't know if this influenced it more.
Yeah I have gained like 2st since taking sertraline and beta blockers it sucks so was just wondering how people founder it when they came off them, I just want to be skinny again lol

I dont think antidepressants actually cause weight gain. But when one is depressed one tends to overeat. It then takes exercise and a determined effort to get rid of the weight and you can lose weight like that even if you are on the medication. I am speaking from my own experience.
I think it differs on the person I'm basically eating and exercising the same as before and put on two stone lol but hopefully it goes away as quickly as it came on
