Weight gain?

Hi, I’ve read on quite a few websites that sertraline causes weight gain & in some cases extreme weight gain.

Has anyone experienced this since being on it?

Hi Bee, I would have to say no. I am more energetic now and that could be the reason. I've been on 50 for 16 weeks. Hope this helped. 😎

I have put on a lot of weight but to me it’s a small price to pay. I’d rather be heavy than feel the way I did before sertraline.

I gained weight, too. I was hoping when I was moved to duloxetine from sertraline that the weight would come off but it has not. It sits right in my belly/thigh area. I had just lost a bunch of weight before the meds so I am bummed.
