Weight loss after laparoscopic myomectomy?

Hi there smile

I'm a skinny 24 year old who's been trying pretty hard to gain weight. I will have a laparoscopic myomectomy for a 6.5x10 cm fibroid this month.

I read on some forums that people tend to lose a lot of weight after having surgery...

Did you guys have significant weight loss after your laparoscopic myomectomies? And if yes, how long did it take to come back to normal?

Hi Chrisbird,

I had mine done a month back and I hardly have had any weight loss. Within 10 days time you are pretty good to do. We just have to remember we have just been out of surgery and take care of our health. Else you are all good.

I actually put weight on after I had my fibroid removed! 🤔
