So I have been on zoloft for 10 yrs just had an increase 6 weeks ago. I havent been able to eat much at all and im scared. Im obese. I lost 10 pounds already. It scares me not to eat much and lose weight like this. I always had an appetite before. Its freaking me out. Im just nervous something else is wrong. Even though I went to the doctors. any reassurance would help.

Now. I lost that in 4 weeks on sertraline. I was told to come off them and if I lost anymore I'd end up poorly and I'm fine now! Eating loads. When you don't eat properly your stomach shrinks you just need to force a meal down you and hopefully your appitite should come back!
I have been eating small amounts. It comes and goes. When im happy I eat when I get panic I dont. I also have a rapid heart beat which drives me crazy. I just want to get better already. Its such a long process. I dont remember zoloft taking so long to work before. I hate living in panic
I was the same as you and afterwards it turned to non stop eating , feeling hungry all the time.
Trying to lose weight now but it's so hard . I've been on this med 4 months now and still have way to go . Don't worry it should go away , I guess this is side effect from upping your dose . Give it more time .
HI peggy. Please dont worry. I lost a stone on Sertraline but after a few months I started to eat okay. It does take time especially as you have increased your dose.I went off a lo tof foods as well but it all does come back.
