Weighed myself the other day to find I'd actually put on a bit of weight :!: Couldn't believe it and mood went right down and hasn't really picked up since.
I started my period the day I weighed, can this make a difference :?:
Would love to hear some reassurance as feel very down now.
Don't feel down...you will put on weight around your period because of water retention,,,,stick to the healthy eating and weigh again after your period and you will get a pleasant surprise Let us know how you get on,,,, Beryl
im the same i weigh every friday at my sisters and i dont seem 2 be loosing much but my clothes seem alot bigger :? ,i weighed at doctors after 4 weeks and had lost 12.5lbs, which she said was good but im so dissapointed i thought i would have alot more seeing as i got alot 2 loose . keep up the good work because it is working you could of lost inches that week instead of weight(well people tell me that)
Hi Katia... don't feel too bad about it. It might mean nothing at all.
I know that some people like to weigh weekly in order to make sure they are getting on ok but I am a firm believer in the monthly weigh in. A woman's weight can fluctuate loads during the month due to hormones, periods, etc.
I weigh on a monthly basis and it just so happens that it is just before my period so in theory I am probably at my heaviest then anyway but at least I do it at the same time every month. It works for me but as I said, I know it's not everyone's cup of tea.
