u should not attempt to remove it with home treatments as most dont work and could make it look alot worse u should visit your doctor to discuss methods of removal if uv had it since a baby then its most likely it is a birth mark i have a lighter large birth mark on my leg but obviously mines on my leg and people cant see it
Agree with Kim. Its a congenital naevus…you have had it from birth and although that may have been where your feeding tube was taped that is not the cause. Dont know where you are in the world but if you are in the UK go along to your GP who may have an arrangement with a dermatology unit so you can get it removed. Some GPs will say its cosmetic so you would have to find a private plastic surgeon to have it removed. That would cost between £400- £1,000. You should be able to make monthly payments if that is a big cost for you.You need a shave excision if you dont want a scar. Just a cut and stitch excision will leave a scar
If your GP says it cant be removed on the NHS ask him/her to refer you to a “plastics”. He will know the best one for this sort of procedure.
Do not attempt to remove it yourself. It could make it worse. You could try buying some facial bleach to lighten the hair, but use it very carefully.
