Hi,
For the past three years, especially in the spring/summer- when the sun is really out (rare for the UK hence I tend to notice it more in the summer). I get this blotchy red and purple rash on my knuckles, it doesn’t itch and it isn’t sore to touch, however it’s the knuckle joints that seem to hurt and my grip seems to lessen when this rash appears.
I’ve seen three doctors about it two have said it looks like I’ve bruised them, which I answered there is no reason for them to be bruised one of them also suggested arthritis but didn’t take it any further and one just prescribed me hydrocortisone cream, which helped however there was no answer to what it is and why I keep getting it.
I’m just not sure what it could be and if I should be going back to my doctors again to get answers because no one seems to know what it is.
