hello lovely ladies, hope all is well for you in lockdown! I've noticed my right eye feels weird, as if its got a bit of gloop in it where i would blink and it would go, its there a lot and i am of course worried i am now going blind! (as you do) Ive heard of dry eye in peri and i am trying eye drops but it is concerning me Anyone else had this sensation? x
Hi Jo yes I am having that at the moment, I literally feel like something is pricking in my eye, I saw a nurse and she said to use drops. I know Hay fever is bad at the moment too, but it isn’t itchy as such more uncomfortable like you said where you have to keep blinking. Maybe try drops as I know eyes can get dry during the menopause, another symptom to add to the list. I was really worried too

I spoke to the optician today and he had good advice, apart from drops to try a heated eye mask to get the oils moving about or a hot flannel and also to take breaks during reading etc as it that helps from concentrating for periods of time
