Lately I noticed that a bone on the side of my knee was bigger than the same bone on my other knee. The knee feels a bit stuffed and i feel a slight ache from it sometimes. It doesn't actually look stuffed, though. It also feels like it's beating sometimes like my heart does. I can feel it too. This is so weird....Anyone have an idea what this could be?
As a precaution, you should see your surgeon just to make sure you don't have something pinched. In the meantime rest, elevation and massage the knee. My preference has always been Vitamin E oil rubbed into the entir e knee with your thumbs twice as day. It may be a pinched nerve, especially if pain is prominate when you bend the knee. Be sure and ice it every hour and hydrate yourself well. Increase you water intake substantially.
