Hi everyone, I'm in perimenapause does any one feel like they have something stuck in there throat, I get this feeling once in a while if there's anybody out there that share the same feeling like I do please share
I get the feeling like something is sticky in my throat, I also get where my throat feels tight inside! I also get where sometimes it feels like I have to make my self swallow like tryin g makes me feel like I can't breathe or actually be able to swallow when I try all this is every so often!
This is a common occurrence on peri and in menopause. The "lump in the throat syndrome". I've heard many ladies mention it on this forum. I had it for a little while myself. It's caused by anxiety.
I get the lump in my throat feeling. When I get it I clear my throat a lot. If I obsess about it too much my anxiety kicks in. Then my throat feels like it is closing. I feel your pain
