Hi guys, I'm a 15 year old with severe anxiety. I got this weird feeling in my throat a few times. its like an adredaline rush/ forceful feeling that lasts 1-2 seconds. I got this since November of last year and I always freak out when these happen. I got one a few minutes ago that was more forceful than usual and I thought something really bad was gonna happen and started to freak out. I went to the doctor and got an ECG a little while ago and it came back as normal.
hi jane. sounds like one of the many symptoms of anxiety manifesting. i used to get many weird body sensations that would come and go that would freak me out completely and send me to the doctor or to google at the least, and every single time it turned out to be nothing. all tests always came back perfectly fine. its been 10 years living with my anxiety so i got used to it and learned not to freak out, youll be surprised how connected your anxiety is with your body and the array of physical sensations it can give. so i would say if your test came back normal, keep calm
