Weird Feeling

Hi

I just started taking citalopram last night after my doctor said that she thought I should try it again as I have just had my 5th miscarriage and my marriage is not going so well. I am only taking half of a half of 10 mg as I am very senstive to meds.

Well, last night went well, just a feeling that I was going to have a panic attack (but didnt), I think it was because I was worried about taking them.

any way, today around 1, I started to feel very panicky and didnt want to do anything but sit on the sofa and not move!! I am also hearing 'things' ... is all of this normal??

Hope this makes sense!

Thank you for your help,

Angel

what kind of things do you hear?

Just things like doors openning and shutting kind of thing.

My husband started taking Citalopram about 3 weeks ago.

He has started getting panic attacks, I was wondering if it was just coincidence but it seems it can be a side effect.

He was bad last night- said his whole body tingles, starts at his feet and goes right up to his head.

He collapsed in a garage 2 nights ago while he was at work, they took him to hospital and ran tests and said it was a Panic Attack

When i first started taking Citalopram i hid down the side of my bed with a blanket over me and kept saying shush someone might hear you from outside we have to be really quiet to my husband it worried him to death i felt really frightened and scared but really could not tell you what of. I felt a great urge to hide in cupboards and under the stairs i know this was a side effect of the citalopram i also had other wierd feelings but they did wear off after a few days.
