Anybody know what this means? I’ve been googling and trying to call doctors, the dr that did this test refuses to explain the results because I’m not a patient anymore. The results are from 2004 and the office never informed me of any issues…

Hi m,
From looking at these results it looks like there was an “abnormal result” registered for hepatitis B core antibody IgM; the other test results for hepatitis A and hepatitis C were clear. Without knowing the lab’s normal and abnormal ranges, it’s impossible to interpret whether this result of 0.115 is too low or too high!
The sensible option is to have this test repeated; a lot may have happened to you over the past 16 years and you may have put yourself at risk of hepatitis B during this time unless you’ve received a course of hepatitis B vaccination.
