Weird odour from sexual fluid

I’ve noticed a weird, fishy smell from my semen. Thoughts?

  • I’ve been washing the glan well especially after looking up that it may be the cause. I dont know however, if that is the real problem. I use water and soap, but don’t pat it down due to sensitivity
  • Other than the odour, nothing else seems to be wrong - no inflammation apart from when I have to stretch the foreskin back, and no other pain/swelling to my knowledge (the very tip pertrudes slightly, but i think this is natural)
  • I heard that diet may be a factor, however, as someone who eats mostly white meat due to religion, and someone who eats veggies, i dont think this is right either.

Its a tad embarassing. Thoughts?

It is most often urine that causes odour issues.
I suggest you pay greater attention to what happens after fluids are emitted from your penis.
You will NEED to get used to fully drying the skin after washing as this could be part of the problem
So you need to get the sequence of things right - when fluid is emitted from your penis it is cleared away then fully washed and dried.
Yes, masturbation practices can play a huge part in this - it depends whether once your ejaculate you do a full clean up and then wash your penis immediately afterwards … ?
