hi, a few hours after having sex, i noticed a weird pimple on my clit. i had unprotected sex for the most part apart from some skin to skin contact on that area. i know herpes usually takes 2-12 days to show, but this spot showed up the next morning. please could someone advise as I’m really worried about it. thank you

Looks like a tiny infection under the skin…possibly in a Fordyce gland. I am sure it will gradually come to a head and then disperse. just keep clean and dont squeeze…you will spread the infection. Often caused by friction. Sit in a warm bath to help it.
Thank you so much for your help. I didn’t think it was anything awful as it was too soon after but the friction part makes sense.
I will leave it be and keep it clean 
update: it’s been nearly a week and the pimple has still not gone. is it anything to be concerned about?
