ok. so im pretty sure im being irrational. but ive just noticed this weird rash on the back of both my thighs. I have had test std tests back in june and in august. both testing for HiV. which came back negative. the only risky encounter was in May when i had unprotected sex. i had protected sex with a condom and he pulled out in july..... so my question is (and yes i know im probably being crazy) what is the likelihood of this being a HIV rash? it doesnt itch or hurt. although i noticed it stinging when i put tea tree oil in my bath a week ago. i think im being irrational thanks to google images.
Unless youve been experiencing other symptoms- such as flu-like symptoms, fatigue, swollen lymph nodes, dry cough, nigh sweats, fever etc. I doubt that it is HIV especially considering you tested negative for it.
no i never had any of that at the time of potential exposure. its the time of year for colds. so i have had one of those lately. but the exposure was such a long time ago. so i wouldnt be symptomatic now. and yes i tested negative twice. once at 2 weeks and then again at 14 weeks. im just an anxious person and seeing this weird rash thing got me worried.
I don’t think dry cough is an ARS, dry cough might be a sign of chronic infection of hiv but not a sign of acute infection phase.
Do you agree with me?
