I am a two year and a half with this redness spot in my urethra. I've been to 4 urologists. But they don't know what it is. I've done all tests for dst. It got positive for Herpes. I took acyclovir, Aclovir ointment, I also took azithromycin,doxycycline, instranspor for fungi. I have already taken several antibiotics from the doctors. It didn't work to solve this redness in the urethra. I feel a lot of pain in the urethra. I don't know what to do. The 4 urologists that I went to they don't know what is this redness spot. Even being positive for herpes. I believe that what is making my urethra inflamed and red is something else. Because herpes gets better by its own after a while, and herpes lesions have yellow pellets. My urethra only has this red spot. And mine never fades off. Urologists said it dont look like hpv, because there ain't warts on my urethra. I even took anti-allergies with corticosteroids and it didn't work. I don't know what else i can do. I'm tired to feel pain on my urethra. Once the other dst test gotten negative beaside herpes. The urologists don't have a clue what that redness spot could be.
