Weird shoulder/back symptoms. Help please

For the past few weeks I have noticed a numbness/tightness/tingling feeling in my left shoulder blade/back area.

It feels like someone is touching my back and I feel it more when bending forwards or activities at work (waitress).

I'm really worried about what this could be. It seems to be painful when I breathe sometimes too. Could it be something serious?

I have gotten this for years off and on, I hold a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders so I this it has to do with nerves and muscles. It used to worry me but doctors never said much, so now I ignore it. It could be nerves and muscle issues for you too.

I suffer with this too. I hold all my stress and tension in my shoulders and neck. Your job won't help with this either. Have you seen an osteopath?? Maybe you just need everything cracked back into place

It's weird how it's just in one side of my shoulder blade/back though. I was bending down earlier to sweep the floor and it was really bad then and I got up and it really hurt.

Is this anything serious to worry about? I get bad pain in my left leg from time to time and pain in my back too so I'm worried about spinal cancer

It may be something to do with your sciatic nerve especially if it's pain down your leg. I would definitely suggest seeing someone to sorry your back out.

I went to physio who said it was the muscles in my back and leg that are weak apparently. No scans or anything.

So this doesnt sound like cancer?

I would definitely recommend seeing an osteopath.

I don’t think this is cancer, but if you’re worried ask for imaging tests so you can have piece of mind. Anxiety always makes us assume the worst but it probably is just nerve and muscle related. Mine is on one side too, or down the middle. Try to relax as much as possible. I hope you feel better soon.

I feel like thus is getting worse. I've got constant dull ache in my back and shoulder and last night I'm sure I found a lump on my back. My boyfriend laughed.

I really terrified about it being spinal cancer
