so earlier this evening I was sitting down watching the game and all the sudden I felt a weird feeling in my head like an electrical pulse feeling shoot through from my head to all my face. I felt confused as to what was going on. I got lightheaded mu face was right and my mouth and touge felt odd like a burning/tingling feeling. So i first thought of stroke so i called 911. Got a ekg test done and it was normal. I told them i started weaning off paraxitone on Friday taking it every other night so that was probably why i felt what I felt. Plus the nurse smiled saying Im way to young and healthy to be at risk of a stroke. But has anybody ever felt the way i did tonight?
It sounds like a migraine related episode that is uncommon but it does happen. It's a migraine with stroke like symptoms. You should google it. If you don't have a history of migraine I'd probably blame anxiety. It can cause crazy physical symptoms that mimic a heart attack or stroke. I am a big time anxiety sufferer but I have a unique case. I have conversations disorder a condition that specifically causes physical symptoms that come on for no reason and the physical symptoms are really happening because the brain concerts the anxiety into the symptom. For me it's vision. My vision has been impaired for 9 months and there is no organic cause. It fluctuates daily but always an issue. I hope this helps you.
Thank you Tyler for the advice. I'll look into the migraine part but I do get tension headaches all everyday so I'm sure I get migraine headaches as well too. I hope you start to feel better soon.
I hope you feel better too! regardless of the cause of the symptoms you're describing I can tell you have tons of anxiety and it's not a good feeling. I'm glad you called 911 and got checked out. You cannot be too young and healthy to have a stroke and stroke symptoms need to always be evaluated. You did the right thing.
