Hello, this is my first time posting here and i wanted to get your guys’ opinion on something. I went to a vacation about two weeks ago, and on my second day there I went for a shower and I noticed a weird bump on one of the sides of my urethra and a few red dots under it, didn’t itch, didnt hurt it just looked odd, it started going away right away so I paid it no attention, so I got home and it kept going away so I thought okay maybe the swim trunks or something caused a cut or something, or maybe it was a reaction to pills I took (for motion sickness) or maybe just the towel I used there. So its been about two weeks and I still got this weird discoloration and swelling on one of the sides of my urethra and I’m debating if I should go see a doctor and was wondering what your guys’ advice would be and if you know what it is. Keep in mind it doesn’t hurt and I have no weird discharge or anything its just there. Kind regards.
As you are basically suggesting yourself, this is most likely due to irritation of some kind or another. So I would simply watch to see if anything else develops.
Keep the area clean after urinating, if you masturbate or have sex always do a full clean up afterwards. Also, what will help the skin on the entire head of your penis is to restrict the amount of soap and shower gel and other forms of body wash as these can cause severe irritation to the sensitive skin of the head and foreskin of the penis …
