Does anyone take Welchol for diarhea after gallbladder removal ?
Just wondering if anyone's had success with it as I've got constant
diarhea after having my gallbladder taken out .

Linda - did your doctor prescribe colestipol or any other bile absorption tablet? i had dirahiea for 6 months finally , colestipol within 6 days after taking it. did you had your gallbladder removed for gallstones or low functioning gb ?
Hi , I had my gallbladder removed 4 weeks ago.
I've seen 2 doctors and neither will prescribe anything . I just keep being
told to eat but when the smallest amount of anything gives me terrible
cramps and diarhea I'm scared to eat !!
this is horrible. I'm in US and go to private consultant and the gastro prescribed my colestipol or choletremine. It worked great. Immodium was casuing me lot of cramps and not helping. Is it possible to go for private consultant and get prescribed?
