13 weeks PO TKR ... just a quick question; my knee is always more painful and stiff in wet and damp weather.

I have had the knee replaced so why ????

I can't get my head around it lol 😂

Mine are always stiffer in colder weather, seems to take longer to get going, think it's to do with muscles.

The knee itself obvously can't hurt as it's not part of us, but all those muscles, tendons and nerve endings are still ours and sometimes they really let us know it!

Because you are now a human Weather Channel!!!  Between my hip. knee and back fusion, everyone calls me to ask if they'll need a raincoat tomorrow.  Quick...change your phone number!!!

Hi Hazel yep & worse is cold & wet! It was the same before TKR.

Can always tell the weather by the knees, wrists & hands, back, shoulders and the cats!!! If all 3 of my cats are in & in their beds, it's either, cold, wet, windy, or raining! Probably a combination of all 4!!

I must admit I thought the right knee would be exempt from all this but sadly no!!

The joys of the British weather!!
