I had protected sex with someone who told me that she had Genital Herpes after everything was said and done. She was between break outs...

Im not sure, but I’m curious, what are the chances of me contracting Herpes? How long should I wait to be tested?

I am collecting data about that issue from real life. 

Do condoms protect? 

From science we can say it reduces the chance of transmission. 

However, my dr advised me not to use condom if no OB!!

I had no sex since i was diagnosed before weeks.
