About 24 hours after shaving my entire pubic area, I noticed that it hurts to sit down. I checked out what's going on and found that my left outer labia is slightly swollen and has painful red bumps on it.
I have had the same sexual partner for 6 years and he tested negative for STDs.
In the course of a few hours the bumps started producing a dull radiating ache. The nearest place it radiates to is my left hip, the farthest is the sole of my left foot. The pain varies from weak to pretty bad. It also hurts to pee, even the urge to pee produces pain and now I pee less in volume but more often. I can't sit well and wearing any underpants hurts.
Is it folliculitis? Have my ingrown pubic hair become badly infected? Should I talk to my GP or my gynecologist if warm compresses and antibacterial wipes don't help?
