hello everyone! i am back again with another question 😅 to all folks who have had h pylori, what symptoms did you have or are currently having? i hope someone responds. thanks!
I had excessive belching, feeling of fullness really quick after eating anything. This happened at the same time I was on antibiotics course for a tissue infection, so initially thought it was the side effects, but as the symptoms didn’t stop after completing that course I was tested for h. pylori, was positive and then medicated accordingly. The symptoms worsen during the course, belching all the time non-stop. After finishing the antibiotics the next two or three days were miserable, but all of sudden I started feeling better during the mornings for the next few days… evenings were not great but not too bad either… but it did not last for too long, I started feeling poorly the whole day again, so at day 12 after finishing the treatment I contacted my GP and was given omeprazole, took one in the evening and one the day after, it helped with the feeling of heaviness but I was gassy, burping and farting even more than before. I decided not to take omeprazole for a couple of days, here I am right now… let’s see how it goes, I really saw a light at the end of a tunnel for a couple of days, but came back to the dark side again. Must say I dud not experience reflux or nausea, but everything was worse during and after the treatment.
