Three weeks ago I had surgery to repair my 2nd, 3rd and 4th me tarsals in my left foot which were broken and badly displaced. I went to the ER two days ago because my foot wouldn't stop hurting. They made bi-lateral cuts on both sides and loosened my cast which seemed to help but now I'm having these horrific sharp pains that take by breath away. Has anyone else had this experience?

Are they like little electric shocks? If yes it's the nerves reconnecting. I had them and felt horrible!! Hope you get sorted.

I'm having the same shocks in my foot. They are horrible! They take my breath away. I'm still in a cast.
What a Pain
Really feel for you. It's such a horrible pain and they do shock you! I had surgery over 3 years ago and still get them occasionally.
